Paddleboarding is quickly becoming the hot new sport. You have probably seen pictures in your favorite magazine of stars paddleboarding in Hawaii! Now you to can paddleboard in the safe waters on Mission Bay!

Our Campland on the Bay location is a great place to paddleboard. Mission Bay provides calm water so it's an ideal place to learn and master the basics. On one side we have the Rose Creek inlet and the other we have the Kendall-Frost Mission Bay Marsh which is a wild life watchers dream come true. Adventure Water Sports use the Surf Tech Laird which was designed specifically for standup paddling, the Laird standup paddleboard has a wide and thick template with a flat bottom for stability. Low rocker for speed and pulled in tail for maneuverability.

Our 2 hour lesson is one of the best paddleboard lesson deals in San Diego (some charge $100 per person!). The class will give you the essential skills you need to safely paddle in the calm waters of Mission Bay. You will learn how to effectively stand up on the paddle board and will be provided with multiple options depending on your personal comfort level. The class is designed to build a strong foundation to quickly and safely enjoy the new sport of paddleboarding. We keep our classes small with a six person maximum so that the instructor can provide each student with the attention they need. The class begins with instruction, a tour on Mission Bay with the instructor then provides ample time for each paddleboarder to explore the bay at their own pace.

Classes currently offered Mondays at 5:00pm and Saturdays at 10:00am. Additional classes will be scheduled June-September and if you have a group of 6 you can schedule a class time.
